The 2nd phase of Chinaco Group’s aluminum fabrication project in Fujian Province (Southeast Coastal Aluminum Fabrication Base) will start construction this month. The 2nd phase will invest 1 billion yuan ($151 million) to add a production line with an annual output of 100,000 tons of rolled products for lightweight cars. It is scheduled to put into operation in December of 2019.

Chinaco Group and Fuzhou Municipal Government entered into an agreement in 2015 to build an aluminum fabrication complex with a total annual output of 800,000 tons of rolled products in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. The total investment will reach 10 billion yuan ($1.51 billion). As of now, the first phase with an annual capacity of 290,000 tons has been completed and will reach full production in 2018.
