The U.S. Commerce Department launched a new trade action against imports of Chinese aluminum alloy sheet on Nov. 28. The worth of imports of common alloy aluminum sheet from China is more than $600 million every year.
If allowed to proceed, preliminary anti-subsidy duties could be issued in February 2018 with preliminary anti-dumping duties issued in April.
