Sichuan and Jilin rolled out measures to fight air pollution in the coming heating season, expanding the ‘2+26’ Cities policy to 8 provinces.
China in February issued the ‘2+26’ Cities policy, pledging to cut average concentrations of airborne particles known as PM2.5 by more than 15 percent year on year from October to March in 6 provinces, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, and Henan.
